Roger Stacy Sun Walk - Iiksanik’kakatosi
November 24, 1981 – April 7, 2024
It saddens our hearts to announce the sudden passing of Roger Stacy Sun Walk “stacycakes” (morning star) born November 24, 1981 in Fort MacLeod, Alberta passed away April 7, 2024 @ 7am in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Stacy enjoyed family life and powwow life. He loved doing arts and crafts and was good at it. Stacy had a good sense of humor and could always put a smile on your face. He was so giving and so generous he would give you the shirt off his back if he had to. It’s just how he was. He was a proud father and always so proud of his children’s accomplishments. He took great pride in whatever he did especially his children and his home. He had a knack for design.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Patti Lynn Sun Walk “Patticakes”; His children whom he cherished, Chase, Chance, Summer Sheadon, Keanna, Gerald Shealynn (baby girl), James (Sweet James), and Devon; His Grandchildren, Stetson & Winter; His father-in-law, Frank (Trina) Turning Robe; His Siblings, Kashton, Jarrett, Sean, Credence (Elianna); Brothers, Darcy & Davis; and only Sister-in-law, Dana Turning Robe; Nieces and Nephews, Rosalina, Frankie, Bella, Shawne, Thea B.T., Alakai: His adoptive mother, Alphina (Justine) Big Snake. His Aunts, Barbara , Mary (Mike) Wolf Child, Gwen (Wesley) Heavy Runner, Beverly Wolf Child (Many Chiefs), Rita Calf, Leita Sun Walk, Linda Fox, and Black Rider. His Uncles, George Knife, Gordon Wolf Child, Fabian (Melvin) Whiteman, Patrick Whiteman, and Marvin Many Chief Sr.
Stacy now joins his parents in heaven, Clara Sun Walk and Roger Wolf Child; his grandparents, Henry & Clara Sun Walk, Maud Wolf Child & George Blackface, and nephew Sylvan.
