April 7 1961- July 11, 2017

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dad, husband, son, brother, uncle, and grandpa. Philip leaves to mourn his loving wife Colleen, their children Rod(Vanessa), Lydia, Lyndon(Mel), Amy(Kirby), Samuel, Nina and Violet; adopted father Charles Many Fires, treasured sisters Charlene(Chad), Dora, Lillian(Marcel), and Cecille(Horton); siblings Hazel, Cyril, Ralph, Loretta, Floyd (Violet), and Kelly (Daphne), his in laws Rod(Emily) Hunter, Gerald Hunter, Tina Jacobs, Cindy Hunter, Wanda Hunter. Philip is reunited with his predeceased parents Maryann Blackface Chief and Paulus Good Eagle, his daughter Kyleen Good Eagle, his son Kelly Hunter, grandson Garrett Hunter, his siblings Cecil, James, Theresa, special brothers Michael and Elroy Good Eagle; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Philip was a very loving, compassionate and humble man, was born and raised on the Siksika Nation, where he attended Crowfoot school until he left to go to work. Along his journey he met the love of his life Colleen and built their life together. Philip always returned to Siksika to stay in close contact with family and friends, He will be missed by many. Wake Service will be held at Tina Jacobs residence in Tsuu Tina, Alberta on Monday and Tuesday July 17 & 18, 2017 @ 6pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Siksika Nation on Wednesday July 19, 2017 at 1pm Graveside service to follow at Little Washington Cemetery.
