I remember June from her bridge playing days in Calgary. Although she has been gone from here for many years, I will always remember her great smile and cheerful disposition. On behalf of Unit 390 ACBL please accept our heartfelt condolences and sympathy. May you cherish many fond memories.

Dear Lenny and family of June I met June when my friend came from Calgary to live at Sunrise. Residents and their families become close to all of those who reside there. My Aunt Katie Hajash, deceased, would always make a point when she came to Brooks to visit June. They went to school together and Aunt Katie said she had pleasant memories of June. June always had a smile and it was always pleasant to see her. We will miss her. My Deepest Sympathy in your loss.

I worked for many years with June at Dr. Richard Snell,s office. I have many happy memories of her great smile and quick wit. She was truly a wonderful woman. I feel I know her daughters from her many stories over the years. I am thinking of them at this time. She will be remembered.

So sad to learn of the passing of yet another of the "Five Great Lakes". June's life was so well lived, full of laughter and fun. June was such a treasure and so loved by everyone who met her. She was SUNSHINE ON STEROIDS. June taught me how to prepare and properly present a ham steak with pineapple and I still call that my June Lake Dinner. Thanks, June, you will always be remembered with love. My sincere condolences to all of June's family and her MANY friends as well. Donna Douglas
