October 9, 1984 - April 15, 2019

Alexander – Garrett Ramsey Alexander“Staamaksii Pookai” beloved son of Randy & Delores Alexander, passed away suddenly on April 15, 2019 at the age of 34.  Garrett was born October 9th, 1984 at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary.  He leaves behind his sisters Talla, Amber (Bob), and precious baby sister Piikunahkii, brothers Richard, Donte, Brent Lou Breaker, & Chris Clarke. His nieces Taliya & Tarryn, nephews Max, Rylan, and his precious godson Arjay. Also his Auntie Eleanor & Grandma Margaret. Garrett was currently employed with Siksika Health Services for the last 11 years, Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park for 6 years, and the Calgary Saddledome for 10 years.  He was a member of the Ellite Marching Band winning numerous banners. He’s travelled overseas to share his love for his culture with others.  His big smile and even bigger heart will never be forgotten. Especially the love he shared for his baby sister, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and everyone who’s had the chance to know him.  Garrett comes from the families of Alexander’s, Good Eagles, Edwards, Solways, Medicine Shields, Saddlebacks, and Butterfly’s.
Garrett will be forever loved and missed.  Wake services will be held at 6 pm at Gordon Yellowfly Memorial Arbour on April 18th. Funeral at 12 pm at the Arbour on the 19th
