Daniel Lloyd Follett of Brooks; Husband, Son, Brother, Grandson, Uncle, Nephew and Friend to so many. Daniel passed away in Brooks on July 20, 2018 at the age of 45. Daniel was born in Springdale, Newfoundland on August 7, 1972 and received his education in Newfoundland. Daniel loved Culinary Arts and studied to become a chef at Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. After graduation, he pursued his love for cooking and received recognition and rewards for his Culinary Skills. Dan moved to Brooks in 2008 to be near his family and he met Julie, the love of his life, while employed with XL Foods. Daniel enjoyed spending time at Filipino gatherings, family dinners and time with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed motorcycles and looked forward to a Mexico trip once his health would allow him to get back on his feet. Despite of the several medical difficulties he had undergone, his resilience and positive attitude is an example to all of us. Dan was a fighter till the end. He was loving and generous and will be remembered as always putting others ahead of himself. He is survived by spouse, parents, grandmother, sister and brother, aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews. Farewell our beloved Dan, till we see you again. In memory of Dan if family or friend’s desire, memorial tributes may be made to Brooks and District Health Foundation for Kidney Dialysis.
